We are a husband and wife team with extensive experience in the building and design industry. Dan's qualifications include certification in carpentry and joinery after completing an apprenticeship, alongside certification in business and finance, leading to residential builder registration in South Australia, and the Northern Territory. Megan has studied Interior Design with both CATC Design School and the Interior Design Institute. Together, we have been in business for over 10 years and have completed a wide range of residential projects across greater Darwin.
Yes, we are a fully licensed and insured builder in the Northern Territory. We comply with all local regulations and standards to ensure that your project is completed safely and to the highest quality.
Our quoting process is simple and transparent. After an initial consultation, we assess your project requirements and provide a no-obligation quote. This includes our payment terms and any conditions. If you wish to proceed, but would like to go over your quote, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements in full, and can provide further details specific to your project. Due to a high volume of requests, quoting can take 3-4 weeks from site visit.
Once you accept our quote, we’ll confirm the project start date and let you know the next steps. We will also finalise any necessary paperwork, including contracts and permits if your project requires. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure your project runs smoothly.
Dan completes all building works himself from demolition to fit-off, and everything in between. We work alongside a fully licensed, insured and experienced plumber and electrician who meet our high standards. We also use experienced and reputable draftsman, engineers, certifiers and pest controllers to ensure your project is in the best hands.
Using a licensed builder offers many advantages, including ensuring your project complies with local laws, building codes and safety standards. Licensed builders also have insurance to protect against accidents or damages, which an owner/builder may not have. Additionally, a licensed builder’s experience helps to avoid costly mistakes, delays and issues down the road. It is important if you ever sell your home that the works were completed by licensed contractors.
We maintain strict quality control throughout the entire project, because we do the work ourselves! We keep open communication with you to ensure you're satisfied with every stage of the build.
We strongly encourage our clients to book as far ahead as possible. The larger the project, the earlier! We recommend looking at securing your licensed builder at least 6-12 months prior to your project commencing - but always reach out to us to enquire about timeframes!
